RESORT ACTIVITIES SCHEDULE - Upon your arrival, you will receive information about the many resort activities and excursions available to our guests. Below is a list of some of the activities that we offer....

Activities Orientation - Every Sunday we hold an orientation to inform our guests about resort activities, tours and excursions, and area attractions. This is the best way to learn about fun things to do during your stay with us.

Arts & Crafts - Paint your own ceramics or make your own Tye-Dye T-Shirt

Bingo! at the Poolside - Win a ticket for a free drink, non-alcoholic smoothie, or an ice cream sundae

Ice Cream Party - During this activity you will get to create your own tasty Ice Cream Sundae. Choose from a variety of toppings.

In-your-room Spa Services - Spa on Location offers professional services in the comfort and privacy of your own room. Services include relaxing massages, manicures, pedicures, facials, and more. Appointments are made through the concierge desk.

Poolside Happy Hour - Enjoy a full bar and try one of our signature tropical drinks at the poolside bar.

Scavenger Hunt - During this fun activity, you will have to gather as many items from the scavenger hunt list as possible within an hour.

Trivia Games - Trivia is played at the poolside on select days. Prizes are awarded.

Bahamas fun-day Cruise - Experience a real cruise to the Bahamas all in one fun filled day. Enjoy a Las Vegas style casino, fun cruise activities, pool, hot tub, and Bahama Mamas. When you arrive in the Bahamas you can enjoy unique shops, beautiful beaches, and a choice of other activities. Breakfast and Dinner are included. This cruise departs everyday except select Wednesdays. A passport is required.

Bonnet House Tour - See this beautifully decorated and landscaped home of a wealthy artist who moved to Fort Lauderdale in the early 1920's. Learn the history, walk through the house, view the gardens, and take in the art work. Guests of the Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort receive discount admission during the resort's Bonnet House Tour held every Thursday morning. The Bonnet House is located next door to the Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort.

Cast Away the Day Sunset Cruise - This is a very relaxing and enjoyable cruise aboard a 50ft. Catamaran Sailboat. You will take a brief tour of the intracostal waterway, port everglades, and then you will set sail on the Atlantic Ocean.

Discover Scuba Diving - Discover the fun and exciting world of scuba as you experience your first dive in the tropical waters of Fort Lauderdale. You will learn the theory and skills of scuba diving. Enter the pool fully geared and take a lesson in the pool to get you accustomed to scuba diving. Then you will go scuba diving off of a boat in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean where you will see the many species of tropical fish and beautiful marine life.

Drift Fishing on the Atlantic - Fish the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean aboard a 85ft. fully air-conditioned fishing boat. Your fishing rod and bait are included and no fishing license is required. Fishing mates will be aboard to help you out. You can keep what you catch and the captain will be happy to filet your fish for you.

Everyglades Day Safari - Florida's finest eco-tour. Watch native wildlife including Alligators, Panthers, Dolphins, Birds, and more. Your safari includes an hour long airboat ride, a wildlife drive, a nature walk, a visit to an authentic Indian village, and a 90-minute sight-seeing boat ride where you can see Dolphin and Manatee. A nice lunch at a waterfront restaurant is also included.

Friday Night Swordfishing Trip - Swordfish are one of the best game fish. They are great fighters and great for eating too. Some nights they catch many fish and some nights they don't catch any swordfish. Nonetheless, it will be a great trip and a unique fishing experience. Everything is included except food and beverage.

Ft. Lauderdale Amphibious Duck Tour - Fort Lauderdale Duck Tours, offers amphibious tours by both land and sea. Come and experience the most amazing and extraordinary way to see Fort Lauderdale by land and sea also known as "The Venice of The Americas" and "The Mega Yacht Capital of the World".

Half-Day Everglades Tour - Take a short ride to the Everglades where you will board an airboat. During your ride you will see alligators and many other wildlife of the Everglades. You will also see an alligator and wildlife show.

Key West Tour - This is an excursion that you do not want to miss. A true Florida Keys experience. Once we reach the Keys, you will travel over water for 126 miles down the only Overseas Highway in existence. Enjoy the adventure of crossing over 43 bridges and islands of America's Caribbean. Once we reach Key West you will have about 6 hours to explore on your own. There are so many things to see and enjoy. The most popular being the sunset celebration at Mallory Square, where every evening is a Carnivale. This trip is very popular, so reserve your seat early! A box lunch will be included. This tour departs from the resort every Thursday.

Mai Kai Night Out - Join your Activities Staff out at this very famous Florida Landmark. Like Polynesia, the Mai-Kai Dinner Attraction is a feast for all senses, and offers a perfect mix of authentic South Seas entertainment and exquisite gourmet selections. The Mai-Kai resembles a Polynesian village with palm thatched roofs, flaming torches, waterfalls, lagoons, and orchid collections. The Mai-Kai features an international cuisine with oriental specialties, and over 50 unique tropical drinks. Beautiful maidens and agile warriors perform native songs and dances during the nationally renowned Mai-Kai Islander Revue. Dinner and show packages are available for all guests of the Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort.

Miami and South Beach Tour - On your way down to Miami you will be able to see our beautiful beaches and impressive cruise ships in our ports. Once there you will visit a popular waterfront district where you will have free time for shopping, strolling, or dining. You will board a sightseeing boat and cruise past the homes of the rich and famous. Then you will head to the world famous South Beach. You will have time to explore on your own and maybe run into some familiar faces from sports or the movies. A box lunch is included. This tour departs from the resort every Wednesday.

Scuba Certified two-tank Dive - Take this exciting two-tank dive in the tropical waters of Fort Lauderdale. See the many colorful species of tropical fish and beautiful marine life. You must have a valid scuba certification card.

Segway Tours - Segway excursions add an element of fun to your vacation and its a to see Fort Lauderdale beach and Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. Step onto a battery-operated two wheel vehicle that you operate primarily by shifting your weight and glide along as you enjoy fantastic views and great photo opportunities.

Snorkeling Trip - Snorkel the 2nd biggest coral reef system in the world. Swim over a real shipwreck, see various colorful tropical fish all around you, and swim with the friendly nurse sharks. Includes: round-trip transportation, a boat ride with a glass bottom viewing window, snorkeling gear, 2 snorkeling sites, and a professional guide.

Sport Fishing in Fort Lauderdale - This is one of the most relaxing and exciting things to try here in South Florida. Some of the biggest and most sought after gamefish in the world are caught only 1 mile off our coast. You can charter the boat privately or if you're a small group, we can get you out on a shared charter.

Swim with the Dolphins - Experience the world's most magnificent marine mammals hands-on. You will join the Marine Mammal Training Staff for an exciting and intimate two-hour journey into dolphin behavior up-close. A Dolphin encounter including touching, feeding, and training. You will have photo opportunities with the Dolphins. You will also receive complimentary admission to Miami Seaquarium shows and exhibits for the day.
