Ft. Lauderdale Condo Rental FAQs

Your frequently asked questions about booking your condo rental at the Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort.

Q. What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in:      4:00pm
Check-out:  10:00am - *Late check-outs are charged $50 per hour after check-out time. 

Q. What major credit cards do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express

Q. What is your Cancellation Policy?
72 hour cancellation notice is required for a full refund.

Q. What is the Non-Smoking policy?
Smoking is not allowed in the units or anywhere in the interior of the building.  Smoking is only permitted on unit balconies and at designated areas around the exterior of the building. *Any guest who smokes inside their unit will be charged a remediation fee of at least $150. 

Q. Do you have parking?
We offer free parking at the resort. We allow 1 car per unit.

Q. Do you have Internet Access?
We provide free wireless internet in all units. Also available are two computer Internet kiosks and a printer in the lobby. This is also available for free.

Q. Do you allow pets?
For the comfort of all our guests, we do not allow pets.  *Anyone who brings a pet into their unit will be charged a remediation fee of at least $150.  

Q. How far is the resort from the airport?
We're just under 10 miles from the Ft. Lauderdale airport.  It's about a 20 minute car ride.

Q. Does the resort provide a shuttle service?
For inexpensive transportation to and from the airport, or cruise port, call Airport Shuttle Fort Lauderdale at (954)-568-6011 or call Quick & Safe Shuttle at (954) 234-7856.  Arrange your shuttle in advance to save yourself time and money. The average taxi fare to and from the airport is $25-$30. The fare for the shuttle for 1 or 2 people is $23 and $8/person for 3 or more people.

Q. Do you have maid service? 
Fresh towels and trash removal are provided on the 3rd day of your stay.  All units are thoroughly cleaned, and linens changed, prior to check-in. Maid service can be provided for a fee.

Q. Is there a cleaning fee?
A cleaning fee is automatically charged to RCI points reservations for less than 7 nights.  A cleaning fee is also when guests request maid service or if the unit is excessively dirty.

Q. Are there any additional fees that we need to be aware of before booking our reservations?
There is a lodging tax of 11%. There is also a mandatory $2 per day room safe fee to all exchange guests.

Q. What is Owner's Corner and how do I access it? 
Owner's Corner is a website for Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort owner's only.  Inside Owner's Corner, owners may post to the owner's forum. Owners may post your unit for sale or rent. You may post owner to owner comments. Owners may view and download forms such as board meeting minutes and the VRI rental agreement form. To access Owner's Corner, click on the Owner's Corner link and follow the on-screen instructions.

Q. How do I post my unit for sale?
Log into Owner's Corner and post your unit for sale in the Owner's Forum.

Any owner looking to sell, please be aware of timeshare scams where a company calls you and says they have a buyer for your unit or they guarantee to sell your unit.  They proceed to ask you to pay a fee to process the sale.  This is a scam; do not provide your credit card or bank account information.
